Pope Benedict XVI visited a memorial for Jews murdered in the Holocaust in Vienna on Friday, Israel Radio reported. The Pope was on a three-day tour of Austria and was accompanied by the country's Chief Rabbi Paul Chaim Eisenberg. Benedict XVI's visit, said the report, was aimed at showing remorse, regret and friendship to the Jewish people.
