An astronomy expert equipped with telescopes will spend the night at the campgrounds to provide in-depth explanations of what’s up above. Three stages at the Eilat port will bring all that jazz – from classic and traditional to bebop, hard bop and New Orleans – to the 31st festival of its kind. The tours, suitable for the whole family, start at 8:30 p.m. and continue every half hour into the night. This late-night activity includes a ride in a lit-up cable car to the caves, an audiovisual display, stories about the formation of the grottoes, and other interesting facts dating back to the British Mandate about the site. Majorcan chef Andreu Genestra, who has a Michelin star from his hotel restaurant in Spain, will join Dan Tel Aviv restaurant’s chef, Oved Alfia, in creating special savory dishes for this mouthwatering tour.The joint pop-up will be served at the first round of the Round Tables tour from October 28 to November 2.
