Abbas: Next US president will put special emphasis on peace process

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Tuesday that he had received guarantees that whoever is elected US president will put a special emphasis on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
Abbas said efforts made over the last few years won't count for nothing, Israel Radio reported.
