Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas called on all Palestinian factions to halt kassam firing against Israel on Monday night, Israel Radio reported. Abbas said that "Palestinians should do the first step and pass the ball into israel's court." Abbas called to stop firing rockets for a month, and after a month of calm to discuss a total truce with Israel in the West Bank as well as the Gaza Strip.
