Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will meet with representatives of the various Palestinian factions in Ramallah to discuss the "prisoners' document." Media reports on Saturday morning quoted a source close to Abbas as saying that the PA president expects Hamas to adopt the document by the middle of the week. Failing that, Abbas threatened to take the matter to a referendum. The source was also quoted as saying that Abbas would not visit the Gaza Strip until Hamas gunmen stopped walking Gaza's streets.
