UN Secretary General Kofi Annan said he would determine in consultation with Lebanon and Israel the date when the cease-fire called for by UN Resolution 1701 would take effect.
Annan said he expects Lebanon to begin enforcing its sovereignty over all its territory, in order to prevent the entry of weapons that could reach Hizbullah.
