Reports in the Arab media regarding kidnapped IDF Cpl. Gilad Schalit have differed recently.
While the London-based pan-Arabic Asharq al-Awsat said that the issue was nearly resolved, the Egyptian Al-Hayat reported that the question of Schalit's release was not on the agenda for Hamas leader-in-exile Khaled Mashaal's visit to Egypt. Israel Radio reported Friday.
