Assad: US trying to divide Muslim world

Syrian President Bashar Assad on Saturday night accused the US of attempted to achieve its goals by creating divisions among Muslim states. Assad made the remark after a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Teheran. Ahmadinejad said that the Muslim world must remain unified.
