Bomb wounds 3 in insurgency-hit Pakistan province

A bomb exploded in an industrial town in Pakistan's insurgency-hit southwestern Baluchistan province Sunday, wounding three people, police said. The explosion in Hub, about 600 kilometers (260 miles) south of Baluchistan's capital of Quetta, toppled a large electricity pylon as the bomb went off near its base, said police officer Abdullah Jan. Three passers-by were hit by shrapnel and debris from the blast, Jan said. No one claimed responsibility and Jan would not speculate on who may have been behind the explosion.
