Representatives from several Muslim states gathered in Teheran on Friday for a conference aimed at raising funds for the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority. One of the conference organizers' Mahmoud Muhammadi called upon all Muslim nations to come to the Palestinians' aid, especially following the decision by both the United States and the European Union to cut direct aid from the Palestinians. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and representatives of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hizbullah all participated in the meeting, Israel Radio reported.
