Palestinians in the Gaza Strip should see Hamas as an occupying force, but not fight them for now, senior advisor to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas Muhammad Dahlan said Tuesday. According to Israel Radio, Dahlan told Palestinian television that the PA would not renounce responsibility for the Strip. Dahlan also said that if Palestinian leaders didn't take care, events in Gaza could repeat themselves in the West Bank.
