A member of the Egyptian Parliament from President Hosni Mubarak's party said that nothing short of a nuclear bomb would 'work' with Israel. The harsh statement was uttered during a heated discussion of Israel's renovation of the Mughrabi walkway near the Temple Mount. Egyptian parliamentarians claimed that Israel was destroying the Al Aqsa mosque. During the session some parliament members called to cancel all agreements with Israel as the war between Egypt and Israel was continuing even though treaties were signed.
