Egyptian police uncover over 2.5 tons of explosives in the Sinai

Egyptian Authorities on Sunday uncovered over 2.5 tons of explosives in the Sinai Peninsula, Israel Radio reported Monday morning. The explosives were in 50 plastic bags hidden inside a storage room. Israeli security sources alleged that during the past 2 months over 40 tons of explosives were smuggled into Gaza from Sinai.
