Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Ghait cancelled a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud a-Zahar on Thursday. The two were due to convene in Cairo but the meeting was called off in the wake of Egypt's continued pressure on the Hamas-led Palestinian government to force it to change its stance towards Israel.
