Two car bombs struck a Shi'ite district in Baghdad on Monday, killing at least eight people and wounding dozens, officials said, as sectarian tensions rose following a rampage by Shi'ite gunmen killed 41 people, most of them Sunnis.
Gunmen also ambushed a bus in the predominantly Sunni neighborhood of Amariyah in western Baghdad, killing six of the passengers, including a woman, and the driver, police Capt. Jamil Hussein said.
