An explosion rocket Gaza City on Tuesday, but the cause of the blast was not immediately known. Hamas and medical officials said an Israeli aircraft had carried out an airstrike on a car. But witnesses said the explosion occurred in a house, raising the possibility of other causes. The army had no immediate comment.
