The Palestinian Authority government under Salaam Fayad said it would hold a one hour strike in all public institutions of the PA Sunday noon, Israel Radio reported Saturday afternoon. The strike will be an expression of solidarity with the residents of the Gaza Strip, Fayad's government said, following a violent weekend in the strip. Over 70 people were hurt in the Gaza Strip when Hamas gunmen scuffled with Fatah supporters who were protesting against Hamas in a public prayer event, Friday.
