An explosion Wednesday in the town of Deir el-Balah in central Gaza killed one Palestinian and wounded two others, Palestinian paramedics said. The cause of the explosion was unclear. The IDF said it was checking the report. The explosion came shortly after an IDF tank shell fired on a car traveling in the same town, which also killed one Palestinian.
