Gulf leaders call on Iran to stop nuclear program

The leaders of Persian Gulf countries called on Iran Saturday evening to stop her nuclear development, after they held a meeting to discuss the subject of Iranian nuclear proliferation, Army Radio reported. In a statement, the leaders of some of the world's top oil-producing states said that they were concerned that if the US attacked Iran in order to stop its nuclear development, that Iran could take vengeance upon US by attacking US allies in the Gulf area, such as Saudi Arabia.
