Hamas invites EU to verify electrical charges

Gaza's Hamas rulers, denying charges they were pocketing electricity revenues, invited the European Union on Tuesday to send a team to investigate the allegations. On Monday, the EU announced it had stopped paying for the fuel that powers some of Gaza's electricity generators, citing claims by the Palestinian Authority government that Hamas was diverting electricity revenues for other uses.
