The justice minister in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip has died.
Ahmed Shweileh had been battling leukemia. He died Wednesday and was buried in a military funeral later in the day.
The 49-year-old Shweileh had been justice minister in Gaza for six months. Previously he had been dean of the Islamic law faculty at Islamic University in Gaza.
