Haniyeh confirms negotiations for Shalit's release

Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh confirmed on Sunday that negotiations were underway for the release of kidnapped IDF Cpl. Gilad Shalit. Haniyeh expressed hope that the matter would be concluded, Israel Radio reported.
