A US soldier was killed Wednesday west of Baghdad, the military said. The Multi-National Division - Baghdad soldier was killed and three others were wounded during combat operations in an area west of the Iraqi capital, according to a brief statement that provided no other details. Identities were not released pending notification of relatives. The death toll of US military personel has reached at least 3,722 since the Iraq war started in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.
