Iraq: Suicide bomber targets group of soldiers; kills 8

A suicide bomber targeting a gathering of Iraqi soldiers and civilians commemorating Army Day killed at least eight people in central Baghdad on Sunday, police said.
Among the dead were four police officers, three Iraqi soldiers and one civilian, a police officer said on condition of anonymity as he wasn't authorized to speak to the media.
At least 12 other people were injured.
