Iraq: suicide bomber kills 25, wounds 29 west of Baghdad

At least 25 people were killed and 29 wounded in a suicide bombing on the western outskirts of Baghdad, Iraqi police and hospital officials said Sunday. The officials said the attacker detonated his explosives inside a tent as people were gathered to celebrate the release of a former detainee from the US detention center Camp Bucca. The casualty toll from the attack was given by police and confirmed by Yassir al-Jumaili, a doctor at the Fallujah hospital where many of the wounded were taken.
