Iraqi police: Roadside bomb kills 2, wounds 10 in Baghdad

A roadside bomb targeting an Iraqi police patrol killed two people and wounded 10 in southeastern Baghdad, officials said Sunday morning. Police and medical officials said the blast occurred in the Iraqi capital's Shiite-dominated Zafaraniya neighborhood. They said the two people killed were civilians, whilst three policemen were among the wounded. The wounded were brought to a nearby hospital. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to disclose the information.
