Iraqi police say suicide bomber has killed 20 army recruits in Baqouba

Iraqi police say a suicide bomber blew himself up in a crowd of army recruits northeast of Baghdad, killing at least 20 people. A police official says 55 recruits were injured in the blast on Tuesday in Baqouba, a city 60 kilometers from Baghdad. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the media. A doctor at the local morgue has confirmed the death toll.
