Israel has ordered the Gaza-Egypt border crossing closed just hours after it was partially opened for the first time in weeks, EU and Palestinian officials said Thursday.
Israel informed European monitors that the crossing had to shut because it had a high security alert, officials said.
The Israeli army had no immediate comment.
