Judge in Saddam trial expected to step down

Rizgar Amin, the main judge presiding over Saddam Hussein's trial in Iraq, reportedly planned on Saturday to step down from the case. According to a source close to the judge, he intended to announce his resignation and the reasons leading to it following the next time the court convenes in approximately two weeks.
