Lebanese gov't, opposition head for highest level talks in 18-month crisis

Leaders of Lebanon's US-backed government and the Hizbullah-led opposition have left for the highest level talks since the country's political crisis began 18 months ago, agreed under a deal to end a bloody round of sectarian clashes.
The feuding leaders flew Friday to the tiny Gulf nation of Qatar, which will host the talks.
The government delegation is headed by Prime Minister Fuad Saniora, who left with parliament majority leader Saad Hariri on Hariri's private plane, Lebanese TV reported.
