Lebanese troops killed in renewed clashes in camp

Three Lebanese soldiers were killed Monday in renewed fighting with al-Qaida-inspired militants in a Palestinian refugee camp in northern Lebanon, a senior military official said. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not allowed to make official statements, said an undetermined number of soldiers was also wounded in Monday's clashes with militants of the Fatah Islam group barricaded inside the Nahr el-Bared camp on the outskirts of the northern city of Tripoli.
