United Arab List head MK Taleb A-Sanaa represented the Hamas members of the Palestinian parliament being held in the army-run Ofer Prison Camp for the first time as the detainees' hearing began in the camp's military court on Tuesday.
According to A-Sanaa, "their trial is political, and the military court has no authority to judge them for their political opinions."
The IDF has arrested over 30 Hamas lawmakers since it began cracking down on the party in late June.
