Damascus-based Hamas head Khaled Mashaal called for an increase in resistance activities against Israel on Sunday in reaction to the morning's attack on Qana. "The only reaction to this hideous slaughter is the acceleration of the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine," Mashaal said in an interview with Reuters, adding, "Is anything left for our nation except the resistance, which is intended to protect our women, our children, our land, and our honor in the Zionist-American age?"
