The London-based newspaper Al-Hayat reported Friday afternoon that Jordan's King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak are scheduled to meet this Sunday in Cairo. Abdullah will update Mubarak on his talks last week with US Secretery of State Condoleezza Rice. In addition, Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to depart for Cairo on Sunday.
