A Lebanese man was killed and two others were wounded in southern Lebanon late Tuesday when a land mine left over from the summer's Lebanon war exploded, the official National News Agency reported.
It said the victim, identified as Ali Milhem, and the wounded, Youssef Khazem Msheik and Kassem Mohammed Murtada, were taken to hospital in the southern market town of Nabatiyeh.
It was not immediately clear what caused the land mine to explode - whether the men stepped on it or were handling with it.
