A Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) spokesman denied an Ashark Alawsat report Saturday that Hamas agreed to send a tape of captured IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Schalit to Israel in exchange for hundreds of Gazans being allowed to make the hajj pilgrimage to Mecca via Egypt. The PRC spokesman issued the denial to ynet The London-based newspaper had quoted a Fatah source as saying that the group was "angry and disappointed" over the reported deal. However, the source did not specify whether the agreement was implemented.
