A Palestinian gunman has died from wounds sustained in a battle against Israeli troops last September, Palestinian medical officials said Tuesday. The Islamic Jihad operative, who was wounded September 9 in a clash in the southern Gaza town of Khan Yunis, died in an Egyptian hospital, the officials said.
