A Palestinian who was trying to steal equipment from the unused Gaza airport was shot and killed by the IDF on Sunday, Palestinian security officials said. The IDF said it did not know of the incident. The Palestinian officials said their security forces opened fire on residents near the airport who were trying to steal equipment from the area. The gunfire sparked a shootout with nearby Israeli forces, they said. Musa Abu Sneina, 30, who had been trying to steal equipment, was killed in the shootout, Palestinian officials said.
