Egyptian and Palestinian officials say a Palestinian man is trapped in a tunnel used for smuggling between Egypt and Hamas-controlled Gaza. The fate of the man is unclear. An Egyptian security official says the tunnel collapsed and the man was killed. However, a Palestinian official says the man was simply overcome with fumes from the gasoline he was smuggling overnight. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity Sunday because they were not authorized to talk to the media. They said Palestinian rescue workers are trying to extract the man's body from the tunnel.
