Palestinians: Israeli warplane hits home of dead insurgent in Gaza

An IAF warplane on Thursday attacked the home of a senior Palestinian insurgent killed by IDF troops last week, Palestinian officials said. The explosion sent a thick plume of black smoke into the air. There were no immediate reports of injuries, but ambulances were racing to the scene. Hamas officials said the home belonged to Mohammed Dadouh, a master rocket maker from the Islamic Jihad militant group who was killed in an IAF air-strike last week. The home is next to a Hamas training base. The IDF confirmed it had carried out an air-strike, but gave no details on the target.
