Report: Khaled Mashaal's assistant assassinated in Syria

The personal assistant of exiled Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal was assassinated in Syria, Channel 2 quoted one of the major opposition movements in the country as saying Monday.
According to the report, Hisham el-Badni was taken out of his car and shot in the street in the city of Homs, north of Damascus.
Syria and Hamas have yet to issue a response to the report.
