A senior at the Lebanese communications company "Ogro" has been arrested for allegedly spying for Israel, Lebanese newspaper As-Safir reported Monday.

Lebanese security officials reported that the 66-year-old is responsible for international communications at the company.

According to the newspaper reports the suspect was arrested after he carried out a number of telephone conversations with Israeli authorities.

The senior worker admitted to the charges against him, As-Safir reported.

He is the fourth communications worker to be arrested for suspected spying for Israel.
