Syria has arrested a number of suspects in connection with the assassination of General Mohammed Suleiman, an adviser to Syrian President Bashar Assad who was shot dead by a sniper on Friday, the London-based pan-Arabic daily Asharq Al Awsat reported on Tuesday. The paper further reported that the Syrian public is confused over the Syrian government's handling of the assassination, particularly the near complete silence among officials on the matter.
