Report: US expresses reservations about PA gov't

During their meeting yesterday in Ramallah, the US consul in east Jerusalem presented Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas with the US government's reservations about the new PA government. According to the Palestinian daily Al Ayam, the US demands that the PA platform recognize Israel unequivocally and honor existing agreements. The US also demanded that the PA renounce violence.
