Al-Arabiya TV is reporting Thursday morning that the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq has been killed, citing unidentified security sources. The US military, however, denied the report. Abu Ayyub al-Masri took over the group after Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed by a US air strike north of Baghdad on June 7.
