EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana said on Wednesday that Europe supported Syria's plans to get back the Golan Heights. Following a meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assad, Solana said at a press conference that "we are interested in working for your country to return to itself the territories that were captured in [the 1967 war]."
