European foreign policy head Javier Solana is scheduled to meet Thursday with Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres. Solana's discussions with the Israeli officials will focus on renewing contacts with the Palestinians. Following the meetings in Jerusalem, Solana will depart for the Palestinian Authority Thursday evening.
