Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem met in Damascus with the head of Hamas's political desk Khaled Mashaal and the Iranian ambassador to Syria in order to provide answers regarding his country's decision to attend the Annapolis conference, Army Radio reported. Moallem told the two that returning the Golan Heights to Syria was the top priority. According to the report, Hizbullah criticized Syria for its participation in the parley.
