Turkey strikes suspected Kurdish rebel hideouts in northern Iraq

Turkish warplanes on Wednesday hit eight suspected Kurdish rebel hideouts in northern Iraq, Turkey's military said. The military said warplanes struck at eight caves and other hideouts used by the rebels in an "effective pinpoint operation" after spotting a "large terrorist group preparing to spend the winter in those hideouts.
