Hamas gunmen ambushed a Palestinian police patrol early Saturday and wounded two officers, police in Gaza said.
Hamas was not immediately available for comment on the incident in the southern Gaza town of Khan Younis.
The shooting came just hours after a gunfight between Hamas and police in Khan Younis in which two policemen and a Hamas member were wounded. One of the policemen remained in a coma Saturday after being shot in the head, hospital officials said.
